SECTION 8

Reception

Reception describes one planet receiving or hosting another, and therefore the willingness and goodwill of one party. In this module you will learn how reception is formed, how mutual reception shows that both sides are willing, and how reception can rescue a difficult chart.

TOPICS

  1. 1What Is Reception?Reception is the way horary reads how willing and well-disposed the parties are toward one another. Below you will see what reception means, which dignities form it, its strong and weak varieties, and why it sometimes remains one-sided.
  2. 2Mutual ReceptionMutual reception is the situation in which both parties are willing — in the language of relationships, where both of them want the same thing. Below you will see how it is formed, a concrete example of it, and why it counts as a powerful testimony of cooperation.
  3. 3Reception Can Rescue a Weak ChartReception can rescue a difficult chart: the willingness of one party, or of both, can soften the friction of a hard aspect. Below you will see how this works alongside a hard aspect, what happens in the absence of reception, and how a weak significator may be helped.
