The Void of Course Moon
Sometimes the sky appears to pause: the Moon completes its passage through a sign without forming another major exact aspect. This lack of motion directly affects the answer.
Definition
The Moon is void of course when it will make no further exact major aspect before leaving its current sign. The Moon describes the flow of events, that is, the direction in which the matter is moving.
General meaning
A void of course Moon often says that nothing will come of the matter: effort will not lead anywhere, and the situation will not develop. In this condition the chart does not speak clearly, and the judgment should not be forced.
Strong-significator exception
When the principal significators are very strong (in their own dignities, with clear aspects), the matter may still proceed despite a void Moon. A void of course Moon is therefore not by itself an absolute denial.
Sign exception
When the Moon is void in Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius, or Pisces, the matter may still proceed weakly. In these signs, rather than saying 'nothing will happen', retain a mild qualification.
Be honest
A void Moon should be stated honestly: 'There is no clear movement at present; the chart is not speaking decisively.' Naming uncertainty is better than offering false confidence.
