The Querent (the person asking the question)
In every question the first principal actor is the person asking it: the querent. So which planet represents you?
The querent's two significators
The querent has two significators: the planet ruling the 1st house, or Ascendant, and the Moon.
The Moon always accompanies the querent
In every question, the Moon is the querent's secondary or co-significator; it reflects the querent's emotional condition and the general course of events.
Example
If Capricorn rises, Saturn rules Capricorn and therefore signifies the querent. The Moon also signifies the querent.
Sample question: Capricorn is rising in my chart; which planet represents me?
