How the Answer Is Spoiled
Even when the route to perfection lies open, another factor may intervene and destroy the union. The tendency then turns toward 'no'. Here are the three principal factors that spoil the answer, along with the void of course Moon.
Prohibition
As two significators apply toward union, a third planet intervenes and perfects an aspect with one of them first; the intended union is prevented. Modern equivalent: another candidate or buyer intervenes just before agreement.
Frustration
Before the intended union is completed, one of the significators connects with a third planet and cuts off the light; the expected outcome comes to nothing. Modern equivalent: the other party's interest turns elsewhere at the last moment.
Refranation
As the aspect is about to perfect, one of the planets stations (stops before turning) and turns retrograde (moving backward); the aspect never completes. Modern equivalent: the other party retracts a promise or withdraws at the last moment.
Void of course Moon
When the Moon will make no new aspect before leaving its sign, it is void of course: there is no clear movement. Modern equivalent: nobody acts and the situation does not progress.
