Turned houses (questions about another person)

But what if the question is not about you but about someone else? That is when the wheel is turned.

Why turn the chart?

When you ask on behalf of someone else, the chart is turned: whichever house signifies that person in your chart, their affairs are counted afresh from that house. In this way you can also read another person's work, money or health.

Which person belongs to which house?

Sibling 3rd, child 5th, spouse or partner 7th, father 4th, mother 10th, friend 11th. Treat that house as the new 1st house and count the matter forward from there.

Example: a sibling's money

A sibling is your 3rd house. Since money is the 2nd house from the sibling, counting from the 3rd brings you to the 4th house of the chart.

Example: the mother's money

The mother is the 10th house (her new 1st house). Since her money is the 2nd house from there, counting from the 10th brings you to the 11th house of the chart.

Do not over-turn

Turn the chart no more than once or twice; going further separates the judgment from the chart and makes it unreliable. If you are asking about your own money or your own relationship, do not turn it at all — use your own house directly.

Sample question: Will my sibling recover this money? Which house signifies my sibling's money?
